Jody-Ann is currently a fourth-year student at Saint Mary’s University (SMU), enrolled in the Biology and Forensic Science programmes. She also serves as an executive member of the SMU Caribbean Society to assist in developing an environment of inclusion for Caribbean students. Prior to migrating to Nova Scotia, Jody-Ann attended the Antigua State College (ASC) for two years on a full scholarship where she successfully attained an Associate Degree in Natural Sciences.
Jody-Ann has worked in the Chemistry Department at SMU with professors and students as a Lab Demonstrator and a Student Success Teaching Assistant. Additionally, she was a Research Assistant at Dalhousie University in the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology in 2019. She aspires to attain a master’s degree in Health Administration after her tenure at SMU.
Jody-Ann is a determined and motivated islander, who enjoys the luxuries of the sun, beaches, and coconut water!
