Role Overview
The primary function of the Dermatologist is to provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin related concerns. The Dermatologist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Conduct patient assessment, treatment planning and implementation, evaluation of treatments for effective outcomes

Provide consult notes to referring family physicians for new patients
-
Perform follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer to an internal general practitioner for continuation of care

Assist with coaching nursing team to be able to provide effective patient care

Participate in training and education opportunities provided by the company

Adhere to company policies and protocols

Work with marketing team to build and promote personal social media presence

Utilize exceptional communication skills to build relationships with both patients and employees

Potential opportunities may include a medical directorship position and/or equity stake in the company
Qualifications
-
Medical Degree with specialist training in Dermatology.
-
General practitioner with specialized training and advanced education in dermatology.

Certification or eligibility with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Dermatology
-
Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia
-
Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required
