Neurologist
Our client is a multidisciplinary healthcare organization delivering timely, specialized medical services to patients across Ontario. The clinic is designed around rapid access, coordinated care, and high clinical standards, with a strong focus on neurology, concussion care, chronic pain, mental health, rehabilitation, and allied health services.
Our client operates with a fully integrated clinical and administrative infrastructure. Physicians are supported by dedicated front office and back office teams who manage all scheduling, referrals, patient coordination, billing, documentation workflows, and operational logistics. This structure allows physicians to focus exclusively on clinical care while benefiting from a professionally managed, high-volume referral environment.
Our client provides both in-person care at its Newmarket, Ontario clinic and secure virtual care services to patients throughout Ontario, working closely with insurers, legal professionals, and healthcare partners to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered outcomes.
This role supports existing patient referral demand and ongoing neurological care needs within our client’s clinical programs.
Role Description
Our client is seeking a full-time, permanent Neurologist to join their New Market, Ontario clinic. The Neurologist will provide comprehensive neurological assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care for patients, including individuals with concussion, acquired brain injury, and other neurological conditions. Care is delivered primarily on site at the New Market clinic, with virtual care also provided.
The Neurologist will focus in Concussions and be responsible for evaluating and diagnosing patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing patient care. The Neurologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Position Highlights
- Conduct neurological consultations, assessments, and follow-up appointments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic neurological conditions
- Develop, implement, and oversee individualized treatment plans
- Review and interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings
- Prepare and maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation
- Complete medical reports, letters, and forms required for patient care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Ensure compliance with CPSO standards, PHIPA requirements, and applicable legislation.
- May participate in case conferences, interdisciplinary planning, and clinical quality initiatives
Requirements
- Royal College of Physicians of Canada or American Board Certified
- Active CPSO license in good standing (Ontario) or eligible for an independent licence
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in concussion management and sports injuries.
- Comfortable with telemedicine platforms and remote assessments
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Availability for a minimum of one dedicated clinic day per week (8 hours)
- Previous experience in multidisciplinary environments is an asset

Reporting Structure

Terms of Employment
- Full-time, permanent position
- Salary is not dependent on patient volume, billings, or collections.
- We are also open to a Fee for Services Agreement.
- Primary work location; Newmarket, Ontario
Hours of Work
- 30 hours per week (full time)
- Monday to Friday daytime clinic hours
- Occasional extended clinic hours based on patient demand
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $295,785 to $300,000 CAD
- Alternative compensation structures may be discussed with qualified candidates
