Job Title: Nurse Practitioner – Cardiology

Salary: $60.00–$65.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Join a patient-focused, innovative cardiology practice in Barrie, Ontario, dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care. Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their collaborative team and make a meaningful impact on heart health in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Monitor and manage patients with chronic cardiac conditions.
- Prescribe and adjust cardiac medications as appropriate.
- Educate patients on heart health, prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests relevant to cardiovascular care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinic protocols.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Holds the title of Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Ontario.
- Clinical experience, preferably in cardiology or internal medicine.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac medications and treatment protocols.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
- Commitment to working in accordance with company policies and procedures.
