Cardiologist
📍 Ontario – Niagara Region
Position Overview
Our Client is looking to hire Cardiologists full-time to join a growing, well-supported multidisciplinary healthcare network in Ontario.
This opportunity offers strong income potential, flexible scheduling options, hospital integration support, and the ability to build a high-volume, referral-based cardiology practice.
Physicians may structure their practice around both community clinic work and hospital-based care, depending on their preference and privileges.
Compensation & Earning Potential
- Full-time Cardiologists can earn approximately $600,000–$700,000 annually
- Compensation is directly tied to clinical volume, diagnostic interpretation, and overall workload
- Overhead is typically 15–20%
- High referral volumes and established infrastructure support strong billings
Cardiology offers enhanced earning potential due to the ability to bill not only for patient consultations and follow-ups, but also for the interpretation of diagnostic investigations such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitor studies. This comprehensive billing structure allows physicians to significantly increase their overall income within a well-supported clinical environment.
This model is ideal for physicians who are motivated, efficient, and interested in maximizing earning potential within a collaborative and resource-rich setting.
Flexible Work Arrangement
There is flexibility in how physicians structure their practice, including options to incorporate hospital privileges (which can be facilitated through our client).
- Physicians may work 4–8 clinical days per month (minimum structured option available)
- Mix of in-person and virtual care
- Full-time and part-time structures available
- Ability to build workload over time
- Collaborative scheduling model

Hospital Privileges & Integration
Our Client can facilitate the process of physicians obtaining hospital privileges, particularly at:
- Niagara Health
- The new South Niagara Hospital
Support is provided through credentialing coordination and administrative assistance to ensure smooth hospital integration.
Practice Environment
- Multidisciplinary care model
- Strong referral base from family physicians
- Integrated diagnostic and specialist services (including cardiac diagnostics where applicable)
- Administrative and billing support provided

Requirements
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or eligible
- Royal College certification in Cardiology (or equivalent)
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist (CPSO supervision available where applicable)
- Physicians who have completed their training in one of the following Approved Jurisdictions are eligible for this opportunity:
