Our client, VM Med is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist to join its highly integrated multidisciplinary team in downtown Montreal. Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, VM Med brings together specialized Medical Centers and Radiology under one roof. In late 2026, the organization is expected to launch an advanced medical imaging center developed in close collaboration with a global technology partner, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and clinical outcomes.
The Opportunity
VM Med is recruiting a Diagnostic Radiologist to support its growing imaging programs. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative clinical model where radiology is fully embedded in patient care pathways across breast health, women’s health, thyroid care, and surgery.

Scope of Practice
The practice includes full-scope Diagnostic Radiology with a strong emphasis on breast and women’s health imaging, including:

Mammography
-
Ultrasound(including; breast, thyroid, MSK and general)
-
Tomosynthesis
-
MRI
-
CT
-
XRays
-
Fluoroscopy
-
Interventional procedures
Radiologists collaborate closely with breast surgeons, gynecologists, thyroid specialists, family physicians, oncology support teams and other referring physicians in a fully coordinated care environment.

Compensation
Compensation is fee-for-service for each exam interpreted and/or performed.
Highlights include:

Physicians retain 100% of their professional RAMQ billings (R1)

No overhead deductions from physician earnings

Competitive remuneration structure with strong earning potential based on clinical volume
Qualifications
Candidates must have:
-
Medical Degree with specialist training in Radiology
-
Successful candidates will hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC)

Eligibility for full licensure with the Collège des médecins du Québec (CMQ)
-
CMPA membership (or eligibility)
-
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada by holding either an open work permit, Permanent Residency, or Citizenship.
The following would be considered strong assets:

Experience or fellowship training in breast imaging and/or women’s health imaging

CAR mammography accreditation or eligibility
-
Ability to dictate exams in French
