Pediatrician – Pediatrics
Location: Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta
Opportunity Overview
Our client is seeking Pediatricians to join well-established, high-volume multidisciplinary clinics in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta. These modern clinics provide strong administrative infrastructure, collaborative healthcare teams, and advanced EMR systems—allowing physicians to focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered pediatric care.
A unique feature of these clinics is their integrated pediatric support services, including in-house Pediatric Occupational Therapy (OT) and specialized programs designed to support adolescents with autism spectrum disorder. These programs include driver readiness training and vocational/workforce development initiatives aimed at helping autistic teenagers build independence and transition successfully into adulthood.
This opportunity is ideal for both Canadian-trained and internationally trained physicians, including those eligible for licensure in Alberta from approved jurisdictions such as Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, and Ireland.

Scope of Practice
- Comprehensive pediatric care for infants, children, and adolescents
- Well-baby and developmental assessments
- Preventive care and immunizations
- Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Health promotion and family education
- Coordination with specialists and allied health professionals
- Opportunity to develop focused interests including:
- Developmental Pediatrics
- Behavioral Pediatrics
- Adolescent Medicine
- Chronic Disease Management
Qualifications
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- Medical degree from a recognized medical institution
- Completion of Pediatric residency training
- FRCPC certification in Pediatrics or eligibility from an approved jurisdiction including:
- Canada
- United States
- United Kingdom
- Australia
- Ireland
Compensation
Fee-for-Service (FFS) Split

75/25 split in favor of the physician
Additional Compensation Options
Physicians may elect one of the following enhanced compensation models:

Enhanced Split Option:
Billings exceeding $40,000 per month compensated at an 85/15 split in favor of the physician
OR
-
Annual Profit Participation:
Receive 5% of annual net profits generated by the physician’s patient base outside of medical services

Relocation assistance up to $20,000
Clinic Hours & Commitment
- Clinics operate 7 days per week
- Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Minimum physician commitment: 37 hours per week
