Family Physician Opportunity – Vancouver, British Columbia
Our client is seeking Family Physicians to join their established clinic in British Columbia. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians looking to build a long-term practice within a well-established healthcare environment, with flexible scheduling, strong earning potential, and opportunities for additional financial participation.
The clinic provides comprehensive primary care services and operates 7 days per week, offering physicians flexibility in how they structure their schedules while maintaining a minimum weekly commitment.
Compensation
Physicians will be compensated through a 75/25 split in favour of the physician under the Fee-for-Service (FFS) model.
In addition, physicians may choose to participate in a profit-sharing option, at their discretion, through one of the following two formats:
Option 1 – Enhanced Split
- Billings exceeding $40,000 per month are compensated at an 85/15 split in favour of the physician.
OR
Option 2 – Annual Profit Participation
- The physician may elect to receive 5% of the annual net profits generated by their patient base for the clinic, outside of medical services.
Clinic Hours & Commitment
- Clinic operates 7 days per week
- Clinic hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Physicians are required to provide a minimum commitment of 37 hours per week
- Flexible scheduling available within the clinic's operating hours
- Physicians can work with the clinic to establish a schedule that aligns with their availability and practice preferences
Scope of Practice
The Family Physician will provide comprehensive primary care to patients, including:
- Assessment and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions
- Preventive healthcare and health promotion
- Chronic disease management
- Routine physical examinations and follow-up care
- Patient counselling and education
- Coordination of care with specialists and other healthcare providers
- Ongoing management of patients within a comprehensive Family Medicine practice

Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school
- Completion of postgraduate training in Family Medicine
- Eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
- Canadian-certified and internationally trained physicians may be considered, subject to applicable licensing requirements
- Candidates must meet the applicable requirements for independent practice in British Columbia
