C-Health, a secondary healthcare provider focusing on Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Gynecology and Pain Management, is seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join their multidisciplinary team of approximately 140 doctors and 400 para-medical staff. C-Health facilitates acute care privileges and offers full administrative support, allowing you to focus on
patient care.
C-Health are focused on delivering personalized care and innovative treatments and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall health of the communities it serves. Physicians will have access to Echocardiography and Stress Echo supervision, Holter and event recorder testing and, for those qualified, access to Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) and Spirometry testing. Additionally, there is full access to general radiology and nuclear services on site. Job Duties
- Perform comprehensive assessments, screening and diagnose patients within the full scope of practice as defined by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
- Carry out tests, including, but not limited to, such as echocardiograms, stress tests and Holter monitoring, and interpret test results.
- Develop, oversee and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medication, lifestyle counseling, and referring patients to other clinicians for further consultation and testing as required.
- Empower patients and families with knowledge about their conditions, treatment options, and effective self-management strategies.
- Adhere to and promote evidence-based practices, standards of best-practice and clinical safety standards.
- Work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating and liaising closely with colleagues.
- Attend clinical management meetings.
- Perform other duties assigned that are reasonable with the scope of practice.
Employment Requirements
Education:
- MD with fellowship training and experience in non-invasive Cardiology.
- Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Exam (MCCQE) Part 1, or a complete set of United States Medical Licensing Examinations (USMLE), is preferred.
- Physicians with training from a Royal College approved jurisdiction may also be considered.
Licensing:
- Licensing, or eligibility for licensing, by the provincial or territorial licensing authority (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta) is required.
Experience:
- No Attending Physician experience is necessary.
- Newly qualified graduates are welcome to apply.
Language:
- English language ability.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate with health care staff, patients and their families.
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Benefits:
- Relocation allowance.

Wage:
Fee-for-service split with earning potential of approximately $600,000 to $700,000 per year.
