Cardiologists

Our client is seeking several Cardiologists to join their dynamic and progressive team. They are a community-based ambulatory cardiology clinic and diagnostic facility located in the heart of North York, Ontario. Their professional services are provided by 14 Mount Sinai Hospital (MSH) University Health Network (UHN) and University of Toronto (UofT) affiliated cardiologists, respirologists and nephrologists. Their institutional affiliations facilitate seamless continuity with up-stream hospital-based cardiac services.
They are dedicated to the provision of high quality and accessible consultative and diagnostic services to their patients and to their referring physicians. They bring together leading experts, the best technology and the latest tests and procedures to ensure each person facing cardiac disease gets the best possible outcome.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Independent Practice Certificate of Registration from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Membership in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

Royal College certification in Cardiology (or pending certification)

US-trained specialists are exempt from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons eligibility requirements (US Board Certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license in Ontario)

Internationally trained candidates who pass the subspecialty exam being launched by the CPSO (College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario) will be considered

Medical liability insurance from the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) or equivalent required, appropriate to the category of practice
