A rapidly growing cardiac diagnostic and consultative care network is seeking Cardiologists to join its expanding team, with a primary appointment at our Markham clinic and opportunities to practice across additional sites in Guelph and Cambridge.
This organization operates purpose-built cardiac care facilities designed to support efficient, high-quality patient pathways, allowing physicians to focus on clinical practice while benefiting from strong operational infrastructure and established referral networks.
Our client, a forward-thinking cardiac care organization, is recruiting Cardiologists for a brand-new clinic opening in Markham, Ontario in May 2025. Located at a strategic intersection near Markham, Thornhill, and Richmond Hill, this 4,600 sq ft clinic is designed to meet the growing cardiac care needs of the region, where wait times currently stretch from 4 to 12 months for specialized services. This clinic anticipates high patient volumes from day one. Our client offers full immigration support, supervision for eligible candidates, and opportunities for partnership and long-term growth.
The Markham clinic, a 4,600 sq ft facility, is strategically located near the intersection of Markham, Thornhill, and Richmond Hill, serving a rapidly growing population with significant demand for cardiovascular care.
Additional sites include the Guelph clinic (3,500 sq ft) and a new 5,100 sq ft Cambridge clinic currently under development, providing physicians the opportunity to practice across a well-supported regional network.
The clinics are structured to support high-volume, high-quality care delivery, allowing physicians to focus on clinical practice while benefiting from strong operational infrastructure and referral pathways

The organization also provides full immigration support, supervision for eligible candidates, and a clear pathway toward long-term partnership and professional growth in the clinics.

Scheduling:
-
Flexible scheduling – minimum 3 clinic days per week

No on-call responsibilities
Renumeration:
Fee for service split with earning potential of approximately $400,000-$600,000

Year 1 Fee-for Service (FFS) split: 85/15

Year 2 Fee-For Service (FFS) split: 90/10

Our client believes physicians should participate in the long-term success of the clinics they help build.
• Equity pathway available for Canadian and non-Canadian candidates *after permanent residency has been achieved
• 12-24 month payment plan available for equity participation.
Qualifications:
-
MD with training in IM and fellowship training in Cardiology.

Preferred qualifications include advanced training and certification in Level 2 Echocardiography and Level 6 Cardiology Diagnostics.

Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC). & Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Exam (MCCQE) Part 1 or a complete set of USMLE’s, is favoured.

Physicians with training from a Royal College approved jurisdiction may also be considered.

Physicians that have successfully completed the RCPSC specialty examination via the RCPSC Practice Eligibility Route and hold the MCCQE1 exam are eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO

Successful candidates will be eligible to hold a license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
