Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist – Southern Ontario

Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities; Remote Work Available

Our client is the largest multi-specialty outpatient clinic network in the Greater Toronto Area, providing high-quality healthcare services to diverse communities. With state-of-the-art facilities, they focus on delivering exceptional patient care across multiple specialties, supported by a dynamic and collaborative team of healthcare professionals. They are seeking a passionate Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their team. 

Responsibilities: 

As a Child and Youth Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with various psychiatric and developmental conditions. Your duties will include: Providing psychiatric services, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. You will be collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. Additionally, you will be educating patients and their families about mental health and wellness, and implementing prevention strategies. You will be required to stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in child and adolescent psychiatry and to participate in training programs for medical staff and other healthcare professionals. 

Work sites: Hamilton & Toronto & Mississauga (working 2-3 clinic locations a week) 

Remuneration & Incentives available:

 

  • Fee for Service Split-  70/30

  • Earning Potential: $300,000- $350,000

Hours of work: 4 days a week; no on-calls or weekends

Requirements

  • Medical Degree with specialist training in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

  • Eligible for Independent license with the CPSO

  • US Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license in Ontario

  • A passion for child and adolescent mental health.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients and families.
