Seeking Developmental Pediatricians

Part time and Full Time Opportunities 

Locations: Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area

Our client, with clinics in Hamilton and throughout the Greater Toronto Area are among the first urgent care clinics dedicated to taking care of children, staffed exclusively by pediatricians, are seeking Developmental Pediatricians to join their dynamic teams in Hamilton Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area. With multiple locations they provide comprehensive and immediate care to their young patients in a supportive and family-friendly environment.

Their belief is comprehensive care for your child. They have Primary Care Pediatrics Clinics that provide routine care and regular immunizations; Pediatric Eye Clinic; Pediatric Cardiology Clinic; Pediatric Allergy Clinic; Pediatric Asthma Clinic; Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) Clinic; Immunization/Flu Shot Clinic; Travel Clinic; and Foot Clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert care in the diagnosis, assessment, and management of developmental /behavioral disorders, Global Developmental delays,and ASD in children and adolescents.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, therapists, and other specialists like pediatric psychiatrists to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

  • Participate in administrative duties as required, with dedicated administrative time allocated.

  • Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with advancements in the field.

Work sites: All locations- working 2-3 clinic locations per week (Mississauga, Toronto, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton) 

Remuneration & Incentives available:

Skills Required: 

  • MD or equivalent degree with specialization in Developmental Pediatrics.

  • Successful candidates will hold a license or be eligible for licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). Applications are welcome from candidates working towards these.

  • US Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license in Ontario

  • Foreign Graduates are welcome, and supervision is available. 

  • Physicians with Royal College Approved Jurisdiction eligibility eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO.

  • Physicians that have successfully completed the RCPSC specialty examination via the RCPSC Practice Eligibility Route and hold the MCCQE1 exam are eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO.

  • The physician must be able to collaborate with health care staff, patients, and their families.

  • Able to work in a team environment and independently.
