Alberta Cardiology Medical Consultants Inc. is a well-established, respected multispecialty outpatient practice in Edmonton. The clinic operates exclusively in an ambulatory setting and is designed to support high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting physician autonomy, collaboration, and work–life balance.
The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic and therapeutic technology, including comprehensive cardiovascular services such as Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, Echocardiograms, Carotid Ultrasound, Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring, and Electrocardiograms (ECG), all within a professional and collegial environment.
Family Medicine Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a Family Physician to build and grow a strong patient panel within a collaborative, specialist-supported setting. Physicians benefit from the ability to refer patients internally for cardiology diagnostics and consultations, ensuring continuity of care while enhancing clinical efficiency. The integrated model allows Family Physicians to focus on comprehensive primary care while leveraging on-site specialty services to better support their patients and expand their practice organically.
Education & Licensure Requirements
- Completion of a Family Medicine Residency Program
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
- American Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Physician
- CMPA coverage (or equivalent)
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach
- Physicians trained in a CPSA-approved jurisdiction are encouraged to apply
Compensation
- Fee-for-service split: 75/25
