Emergency Physician – Full-Time
Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Emergency Physician to join a thriving healthcare facility located in Timmins, Ontario. This is a full-time opportunity within a modern, multi-disciplinary teaching and referral hospital, where you can make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of the community.
The Emergency Department sees approximately 100–120 patients daily, amounting to 40,000 visits annually. Serving a diverse population across a catchment area of 110,000, the facility provides access to a broad range of specialties and advanced imaging technologies, including MRI, CT, and Nuclear Medicine.
In addition to clinical work, there are opportunities to teach and mentor the next generation of medical professionals through a partnership with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:

Hold (or be eligible for) certification The College of Family Physicians of Canada, CCFP-EM (preferred), or CCFP.
- Be licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice in Ontario as an Emergency or Family Physician.

American Board Certified Family Physicians eligible

Have current certification (or eligibility for certification) in ACLS or ATLS.

Be eligible for membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).

Demonstrate strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety and excellence in care.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive compensation structure, including:

A combination of hourly rates and Fee-for-Service payments.

Additional income through a Northern Specialist Alternate Payment Plan.
Additional Incentives

A relocation and incentive package valued at up to $60,000 over four years.

Eligibility for an interest-free loan of up to $150,000.

Access to the Ministry of Health Northern and Rural Recruitment and Retention Initiative (N3R), providing up to $84,718 over four years for eligible candidates who commit to full-time practice in Timmins.

Immigration support for qualifying applicants.
