Job Opportunity: Family Medicine Physicians – Surrey & Cloverdale, British Columbia
Our client in British Columbia is seeking compassionate and experienced Family Medicine Physicians to join their growing team in Surrey and Cloverdale, BC. 🩺 Position Overview:
As a Family Physician, you will provide full-spectrum family medicine care, including:
- Preventive health and wellness care
- Chronic disease management
- Acute care and episodic treatment
- Complex care cases including geriatric patients
- Collaborative care across multiple disciplines
🕘 Physician Schedule & Flexibility:
- Clinic Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible scheduling)
- Telemedicine:
- BC-based physicians: 3 in-clinic days + 1 telemedicine day
- Physicians in other provinces: Full-time telemedicine considered
- On-Call Duties: None
- Weekend Availability: Optional, based on your preference
👥 Team & Practice Environment:
You’ll be joining a collaborative, patient-focused team with a strong administrative backbone to support your practice:
- Medical Office Assistants (MOAs)
- Reception staff and clinic manager
- Access to other in-house specialists: Internal Medicine, OBGYN, Nurse Practitioners, and allied health professionals
- Integrated EMR systems: Oscar & Acuuro
📊 Patient Volume & Demographics:
- Expected Patient Volume: ~50 patients/day (based on your availability)
- Diverse patient base across all age groups, with a strong emphasis on complex care and geriatrics
💼 Compensation & Benefits:
- Earning Potential: Up to $100,000/month
- Overhead Split: 80/20
- Extended Benefits Package: Comprehensive health and dental coverage
- Bonuses & Incentives: $25,000 signing/relocation bonus for out-of-province physicians. Additional incentives for long-term contracts
📚 Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and completion of a Family Medicine Residency program
- OR graduate of a school or college of osteopathic medicine accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, acceptable to the registration committee
Certification:

College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) certification or eligibility
Licensure:
-
Active or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC)
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $25,000
- Licensing & Credentialing Support: Assistance with CPSBC licensing fees and documentation
- Immigration Support: Full LMIA and immigration support available
- Supervision for New Physicians: Guidance available for newly licensed MDs, IMGs, or return-of-service candidates

- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) to practice Family Medicine in BC or elsewhere in Canada
- Experienced in managing a broad range of patient presentations
- Open to working in a collaborative and innovative environment
- Interested in hybrid or fully virtual practice (if located out of province)
