Family Physician Opportunity – Downtown Toronto
Our client in the heart of downtown Toronto is seeking Family Physicians to join their growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a modern, full-service clinic poised for rapid expansion.

- Growth Plan: Scaling to a team of 6–8 physicians
- Location: Prime downtown Toronto, high patient demand, modern facilities
Compensation & Benefits
- 75/25 split (physician/clinic)
- Income Guarantees:
- FFS: ~$125/hr for stability during ramp-up
- FHO (Year 1): ~$200,000 income guarantee (~$17k/month) for rostering just 50 patients/month
Practice Model & Support
- Fee-for-Service (FFS) or Family Health Organization (FHO)
- FHO Enrollment is in progress, expected March 2025
Clinic Operations
- Flexible scheduling: 8–2 PM, 2–8 PM, or other arrangements
- Patient volume target: ~40 patients/day
Ancillary Services & Earning Potential
- On-site cardiology (including stress tests)
- Supervising a stress test is OHIP-billable (~$250)
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Family Physician in this clinic, responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages
- Performing episodic, chronic disease, and preventive care
- Conducting annual physicals, well-baby visits, prenatal care, and follow-up appointments
- Managing walk-in and same-day patient visits
- Completing medical documentation in the EMR accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborating with on-site specialists and allied health team members
- Participating in after-hours care as required under the FHO model
- Supporting patient rostering and continuity of care
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Administering vaccines and minor procedures (training/support available if needed)
Requirements:
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- American Board Certified Family Physician or Board Eligible (CPSO supervision available through Physician on site)
- CMPA coverage (or equivalent)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
