Family Physician – Family Medicine
Location: Calgary & Edmonton, Alberta
Opportunity Overview
Our client is seeking Family Physicians to join well-established, busy primary care clinics in Calgary and Edmonton. These clinics offer strong administrative support, modern EMRs, and collaborative care environments—allowing physicians to focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This opportunity is suitable for both Canadian-trained and internationally trained physicians, including those eligible for licensure in Alberta (UK, USA, Austrailia and Ireland)

Scope of Practice
- Comprehensive primary care across all age groups
- Preventive care and chronic disease management
- Acute care and walk-in coverage (where applicable)
- Health promotion and patient education
- Coordination with specialists and allied health professionals
- Ability to tailor practice interests (e.g., women’s health, geriatrics, chronic disease management)
Qualifications
- Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) or eligibility for licensure
- Medical degree from a recognized medical institution, including international medical schools
- Residency training in Family Medicine
- CCFP certification or eligibility, from an approved jurisdiction including Canada, USA, UK, Australia, or Ireland
Compensation
- Split / Fee-for-Service (FFS): 75/25
- Profit sharing option available, at the physician’s discretion, in one of the following two formats:
- Enhanced split option: Billings exceeding $40,000 per month are compensated at an 85/15 split in favor of the physician OR
- Annual profit participation: Physician may elect to receive 5% of the annual net profits generated by their patient base for the clinic outside of medical services
Incentives
- Immigration support available
- Relocation assistance up to $20,000
Clinic Hours & Commitment
- Clinics operate 7 days per week, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Physicians are required to provide a minimum commitment of 37 hours per week
- Scheduling flexibility within clinic operating hours
