CanAm Physician Recruiting is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians with CCFP-EM designation to join a high-volume Emergency Department in the Northwest Territories. About the Opportunity:

Work Setting: Busy single-coverage Emergency Department with 18,000 annual patient visits

Catchment Area: 50,000+ patients across 15% of Canada’s total landmass (including the Kitikmeot region of Nunavut)

Specialist Support: 24/7 access to Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Radiology

Facility: Full acute care services with modern equipment and interdisciplinary collaboration
Shift Structure:

2 Days (8 hrs)
-
2 Evenings (8 hrs)
-
2 Nights (8 hrs)
-
Occasional 12-hour shifts (not typical)

No on-call requirements
Compensation:
-
Day (8 hrs): $2,500
-
Evening (8 hrs): $2,500

Night (8 hrs): $3,200

12-Hour Day Shift (7AM–7PM): $3,750
-
12-Hour Night Shift (7PM–7AM): $4,800
-
No overhead fees
-
Full admin/practice support included

Who We're Looking For:

Physicians with CCFP-EM designation (required)

Previous experience in ER settings preferred
