About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our client’s clinical team. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the CEO & Medical Director, supporting a growing roster of patients and contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality fertility care. As an NP, you will assess, diagnose, treat, and follow up with patients, manage fertility protocols, and play an integral role in the operational execution of new programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Duties
- Deliver primary and specialized reproductive care under the guidance of medical directives and within the NP scope of practice
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans
- Lead patient consultations, including new intakes and follow-ups
- Conduct physical examinations and assist in in-office procedures as required
- Prescribe medications and coordinate fertility treatment protocols (e.g., IUI, IVF)
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR system
- Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient education and care planning
- Participate in fertility cycle monitoring
- Support recruitment and onboarding of patients into clinical studies
- Communicate regularly with the Medical Director and other clinical leads to ensure cohesive care delivery
- Attend and chair meetings relating to medical compliance and quality assurance (e.g., CPSO, OHPIP, IHF)
- Uphold all safety, privacy, and clinical standards in accordance with clinic SOPs and Ontario healthcare regulations
Strategic and Operational Involvement
- Contribute to identifying and implementing workflow improvements across the clinic
- Help develop and launch new services and programs, including those offered at satellite locations
- Work collaboratively with operational leaders, vendors, and clinical teams on cross-functional projects
- Promote the integration of evidence-based practices across new and existing care pathways
Qualifications – Canadian Standards
- Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (RN-EC) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner Program from an accredited Canadian institution
- Current registration and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Ontario (primary care or adult/NP specialty stream)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, ideally in fertility, women’s health, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in ordering diagnostics, interpreting lab results, prescribing, and developing care plans
- Proficiency with EMR systems and clinical documentation
- Up-to-date knowledge of Ontario’s healthcare regulations, CPSO/CNO guidelines, and patient confidentiality laws
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays on a rotating basis
- Willingness to travel between clinic and satellite locations, as needed
