- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of pediatric patients with developmental and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, therapists, and educators, to create individualized treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing medical management and follow-up care to patients.
- Educate and support families in understanding and managing their child’s developmental issues.
- Stay current with the latest research and developments in the field of developmental pediatrics.
- Participate in research and educational activities as applicable.
- A medical degree is required.
- Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or American Board Certification in Pediatrics with subspecialty in Developmental Pediatrics; In circumstances where no qualified Canadian trained applicants are available, equivalent certification may be considered as long as they qualify for licensure in the Province of New Brunswick.
- Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of New Brunswick.
- Proficiency in English is required. Bilingual skills would be considered an asset.
- In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
- Good attendance and work record.
- Physically able to perform assigned duties.
