Our client, a leader in pain management field with nearly 20 facilities in Ontario from Eastern Ontario, to the GTA and the Hamilton/Niagara Region, are seeking to add a General Psychiatrist to their team. 

Position Description: 

Our Client’s goal is to enhance the quality of life of their patients, by delivering a full complement of community based health care services. 

Their clinics have a high-volume of patients, with access to an abundance of family and referring physicians. In addition, these clinics boast full administrative support staff handling all administrative functions including scheduling. With all of the volumes, scheduling, and billing handled for you… you can focus on practicing medicine!

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team including pain specialists, family physicians, pharmacists, and other providers

  • Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing care for patients with mental health and addiction issues, particularly those with chronic pain

  • Collaborate closely with the team to develop integrated, holistic treatment plans for patients

  • Provide psychiatric consultation and support to other providers on the team

  • Have flexibility to structure your schedule and practice in a way that works for you, with the support of the administrative team

Remunerations:  FFS split 75/25

Hours of Work: Flexible Schedule; No on Call; Remote work available

Requirements and Education:

  • Experience working in integrated, multidisciplinary healthcare settings preferred

  • Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Interest in chronic pain, addiction 

  • Full independent registration with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). 

  • Pathway to independent license available for physicians with training and certification from a Royal College approved jurisdiction.
