Clinical Investigator / Respirologist Opportunity – Burlington
Our client is seeking a Respirologist to join a well-established outpatient clinic in Burlington and join as a Clinical Investigator. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical practice with research in a high-demand specialty, supported by a strong referral network and experienced team.
Position Overview
- Role Type: Full-Time | Outpatient | Clinical Investigator
- Specialty: Respirology
- Location: Burlington, Ontario
- Practice Model: Established outpatient clinic with access to a referral base of 4,000+ patients
Compensation
- $300,000 annually from the Principal Investigator role
- $300,000 – $400,000 annually in outpatient OHIP billings
- Compensation Split: 80% physician / 20% overhead
- Hospital Privileges: Assistance provided for obtaining hospital privileges
- Total Annual Income: $600,000 – $700,000

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient respirology care
- Act as a Principal Investigator in clinical research trials
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements & Qualifications
- MD with fellowship training in Respirology
- Eligible for or holding an independent license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- US Board Certified Physicians are eligible for independent licensure in Ontario
