TeleRadiology- General Radiologist

Our client, operating in Ontario, Canada with locations in Toronto (GTA), London, Simcoe, Sudbury is a secondary healthcare provider focusing on Cardiology, Nuclear Medicine, Radiology, Gynecology, and Pain Management. The team has over 140 doctors and 400 para-medical staff. 

 

They are looking for a General Radiologist to be part of their dynamic and expanding team.

Hours of work: 

Our client is very flexible when it comes to schedule and modality. They are open to physicians with a varied work schedule including full-time and part-time (3days / week). Most work by the physician is done through teleradiology. 

Experience: 

The physician will join a dedicated team of over 60 radiologists in over 35 clinics. Available technology includes GE, Phillips, and Del Medical. All technologies are available within a fully functional PACs/RIS environment. Physicians will perform X-Ray, Ultrasound, Vascular US, OBS US, BMD, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. The radiologist has the option to provide Mammography, Biopsy, Us Guided Injections, and Fluoroscopy Guided Injections. 

 

Skills required: 

  • Medical Degree with specialist training in Radiology. 

  • Successful candidates will hold certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and be licensed with College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). 

  • American Board Certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license with the CPSO and are welcomed to apply. 

  • Physicians with Royal College Approved Jurisdiction eligibility eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO

  • Physicians that have successfully completed the RCPSC specialty examination via the RCPSC Practice Eligibility Route and hold the MCCQE1 exam are eligible for a supervised license with the CPSO

  • The physician must be able to collaborate with health care staff, patients and their families.

  • Able to work in a team environment and independently.

  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada by holding either an open work permit, Permanent Residency, or Citizenship.
