Michelle Flynn and her team at CanAm were genuinely instrumental in getting me from a US practice to a radiology position in Alberta. Early on, before I had any real sense of what Canadian licensure involved, Michelle walked me through the process and helped me understand which provinces were the most practical to pursue. That early guidance shaped the whole application and saved me a lot of wasted effort.
Once my Alberta license came through, Michelle and her colleague Rohini put me in direct contact with several groups that were actively looking for radiologists, and that’s how I ended up at Glenwood Radiology in Edmonton.
What stood out most was how they worked. They were never overbearing — no constant calls or emails — but they checked in consistently, and always seemed to turn up at exactly the right moment. If I mentioned a snag, I could tell they were working behind the scenes to smooth it out. There were a few points where I honestly thought the whole thing might fall apart, and Michelle and Rohini would pick up the phone, talk to the people on the other side, and clear up misunderstandings that I would have had no way of resolving on my own. That bridging role turned out to be the difference.
