I’d just like to thank CanAm recruiting, and in particular Phil Jost, for securing my first job in Canada. What seemed like an impossible task when I set out trying to do things on my own, rapidly took shape with the guidance from Phil.
I talk with particular perspective as an IMG and the difficulties that we can face trying to break in to the workforce of Canada. However, he’s helped with finding a potential employer, making me an “acceptable’ candidate – helping to resolve issues such as work permit, PCRC, CMPA, MCCEE. He gave clear, easy to follow advice, which when looked at altogether seemed like a mountain to climb but with CanAm’s advice, became a tangible process that took, from start to finish, in the order of 3-4 months, a genuinely remarkable turn-around. This, bearing in mind, I was starting right at the beginning/from scratch.
