I am a Family Physician from the UK and got interested in relocating to Ontario. Not to anybody’s surprise, the process of getting licensed by CPSO was so very complicated – requiring endless paperwork, finding a supervisor and satisfying many criteria. While I was hunting for jobs in Ontario, one morning, my wife accidentally came across Hedi Cameron’s ( of CamAm Physician Recruiting) details and I emailed her with my queries. It was a particularly difficult journey for me as I required a clinical supervisor for a certain period and this really posed a stumbling block to the progress. She is outspoken, genuine and does not give false hopes. I was extremely lucky to have met Hedi Cameron and I am absolutely certain that without her in the scene, I would never have obtained my license from CPSO. I find Hedi Cameron one of the most efficient professionals that I have ever met and I would strongly recommend Hedi Cameron of CanAm Physician Recruiting to any physician who is considering relocating to Canada.

To establish/start practice in Canada as IMG is next to impossible keeping in mind the constant change in policies. I must praise John Philpott and his team for their updated, indepth and extensive knowledge in the field. I would like to thank John for his efforts in recruiting physicians to St. John’s, NL. The main reason I accepted the job in St. John’s is the because of the great family atmosphere. I believe that John Philipottâ choice of his local agent Natalie Davis, could not be better. She was absolutely amazing. She managed to bond with my family immediately…and I mean at the airport arrival section! She took care of us like family (and this was what I was looking for).
